About IBRHA
The International Black Restaurant & Hospitality Association Inc. (IBRHA) is a not-for-profit 501(c) business association founded in 2018, whose membership consists of nearly 500 of the globe’s foremost Black restaurateurs, hoteliers, retailers, attractions, travel, and tourism service providers.
The mission of IBRHA is to empower Black business owners, promote them globally, and strengthen their impact on the economy.
BlackStarRated, our destination marketing organization, owned by the trade association, promotes the best Black businesses in hospitality, retail, and travel across multiple platforms.
Additionally, IBRHA’s Operation Direct Action, Inc. is a separate not-for-profit organization created to support and advocate for distressed minority businesses and communities.
