Mission Statement

To empower Black business owners, promote them globally, and strengthen their impact on the economy.

About IBRHA

The International Black Restaurant & Hospitality Association (IBRHA) is a non-profit 501(c) organization and a leading voice for Black business owners in the hospitality and leisure industries.

IBRHA represents and promotes top tier Black-owned restaurants, accommodations, retail, leisure, and cultural attractions and work in tandem with federal, state, and local travel, tourism boards, and special event teams.

IBRHA, however, is not just a marketing organization but also a trade association. Providing the relevant industry news, continuing education, training courses, and advocating for the interests of our members before government bodies, our goal is to provide a gateway for partnerships with the mainstream business community and ensure Black businesses can access and participate in the economic stimulus that comes through travel and tourism.

IBRHA Advocacy

IBRHA communicates with elected officials and monitors legislation that affects Black business and Black culture. Operation Direct Action advocates on local, state, and federal issues.

How ODA advocates:

  1. Maintain visibility and engage legislators
  2. Collaborate and educate
  3. Launch initiatives
  4. Build partnerships
